Dr. Nameera Chagpar
Optometrist
Dr. Chagpar graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 2003. After graduation, she went on to complete a residency at the University of Houston specializing in the cornea (the front part of the eye) and contact lenses. She has a strong interest in laser refractive surgery and was the Director of Optometric Affairs at a leading LASIK surgery clinic in Toronto for over a decade. Dr. Chagpar insists in keeping up with the latest lens technologies and offers her patients the best options in spectacle and contact lenses to allow them to have the clearest and most comfortable vision possible. She strongly believes in communication and patient education and she will take the time to answer any questions a patient may have.​​​

Dr. Chagpar is a member of the Ontario College of Optometrists, The Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Canadian Association of Optometrists.
Dr. Karen Lam
Optometrist
Dr. Lam graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 2009. Shortly after graduating, she joined Dr. Chagpar's practice and they have been working together ever since. During her career, Dr. Lam has continued to gain invaluable knowledge and experience in the management of many ocular diseases. She also has an interest in specialty contact lens fittings and enjoys working with patients to find the best options to suit their lifestyle and recreational needs. Dr Lam offers specialty scleral lens fittings for patients with irregular corneas and severe dry eye. She also has a large pediatric patient base and is certified to fit ortho-keratology overnight lenses for myopia control.
Dr. Lam is a member of the Ontario College of Optometrists, The Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Canadian Association of Optometrists.
Dr. Raymond Ho
Optometrist
Dr. Ho graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 2017 and has also completed his Masters degree in science. During his final year of optometry school, he completed his primary care internship at Eyes On Stonehaven and his ocular disease and therapeutics rotation at the Houston Eye Associates in Texas. Upon graduation, he joined Dr. Chagpar's practice and is a great addition to the team. He has been named a a "Top Three Rated" pediatric optometrist in Newmarket and has a strong interest in pediatric optometry and myopia control treatments for children. Dr. Ho has traveled to Honduras on a mission trip providing eye care as volunteer work. In his spare time he enjoys indoor and outdoor rock climbing.
Dr. Ho is a member of the Ontario College of Optometrists, The Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Canadian Association of Optometrists.
Dr. Pooja Desai
Optometrist
Dr. Pooja Desai graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2021. During her clinical rotations, she focused on fitting specialty contact lenses, myopia control treatments for children, dry eye therapies as well as ocular diseases such as glaucoma and macular degeneration. Throughout optometry school she was an executive member of the Canadian Association or Optometry Students. In her spare time, Dr. Desai enjoys running, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Desai is a member of the Ontario College of Optometrists, The Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Canadian Association of Optometrists.
